Bruce Mullins



Bruce has been passionate about specialty coffee since the late 70’s, since landing a prestigious warehouse job unloading sacks of green coffee from trucks after graduating from college.
In 1982, Bruce joined CBI, learning roasting, cupping, and all aspects of developing a successful specialty coffee business along the way.
Currently the Vice President of Coffee Culture, Bruce also serves on the Board of Trustees and chairs the Advisory Council of the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI), is a member of the Roaster Advisory Council of TransFair USA, works with the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) as an educator and trainer, and has served as vice president and board member of the American Premium Tea Institute. Bruce has also served as a Coffee Corps volunteer on assignments in Africa and South America, and has served as an international cupping judge for Cup of Excellence competitions in Central America, South America, and Africa.
